 JACOB VROOMAN HOUSE

This excellent example of early 19th century American architecture was built in 1835 by Jacob Vrooman on the site of an earlier house destroyed by fire. Originally one large house, it was later divided into two separate dwellings, a new doorway and hall being added on the south side.
