Description
Charles Steinmetz moved into an apartment at 53 Washington Avenue in the Stockade in early 1894. He quickly invited Ernst Berg to share the apartment with him, soon to be joined by Berg's brother, Eskil. They remained there for about three years, before moving to a rented house on Liberty Street.
