Daniel Campbell House
Colonel Campbell was one the the three wealthiest men in New York State at the time of the house's construction. The estate was turned over to John Campbell in the 1860s. The house originally consisted of 26 rooms. An underground tunnel was reputed to connect with the Schermerhorn house at the foot of Putnam Road.
This house had been converted into 8 apartments when it was inventoried in 1973.
