Description
 Henry C. Pratt House

The Henry C. Pratt House was constructed in c. 1900 on a lot that formerly was occupied by a livery stable, and is representative of the increasing housing density in the Stockade during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  The house is built of brick and was designed in a Colonial Revival style that includes references to Dutch and Flemish Baroque architecture of the Netherlands and Belgium in the 17th and 18th centuries.  Prominent features include curved gable parapet walls, bay windows, and the picturesque composition.
