Description
JOHANNES TELLER HOUSE
William Teller conveyed to his son, Johannes, on June 20, 1700, the land on which this house now stands. A later deed covering this property refers to the "house and lot purchased by William Schermerhorn of Johannes Teller, July 14, 1744." Probably the house was built some years before that date. It is of brick construction, and one of the few early houses with a gambrel roof.
